WALLINGFORD, CONNECTICUT, February 6, 2025 - Gaylord Specialty Healthcare is pleased to announce the promotion of Caitlin Cote, MSN, RN, PCCN, NPD-BC, to Director of Gaylord’s Center for Education.
The Center for Education is an interdisciplinary hub for advanced clinical education, training, and professional development opportunities for Gaylord employees, peer institutions, and medical professionals nationwide. In her new role, Cote oversees the integration and growth of all clinical education programs and the expansion of accredited courses, conferences, and symposiums to the broader healthcare community.
With 15 years of experience at Gaylord, Cote brings a deep understanding of clinical education and workforce development. In her previous role as Nursing Professional Development Manager, she led the Nursing Professional Development team to develop Gaylord’s successful CNA Academy and the Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™. Her leadership has ensured that Gaylord’s clinical training programs meet the highest standards, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and innovation among staff.

Cote holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Curry College, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. She is Vice Chairperson for the Healthcare Educators Group at the Connecticut Hospital Association and is board-certified in Nursing Professional Development.
Her commitment to education and clinical excellence has been recognized with multiple awards, including the DAISY Award, Gaylord Specialty Healthcare’s Nursing Leadership and Innovation of the Year Awards, and the prestigious Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing.
