The crash happened in an instant. Two years ago, Anthony Picchione, then just a 19-year-old Motocross racer from New Milford, was paralyzed from the waist down.
Anthony Picchione was 19 and a nationally-ranked Motocross racer when he sustained a spinal cord injury during a competition in North Carolina.
