WALLINGFORD — The sound of balls hitting paddles filled the air at Harrison Park on Tuesday afternoon as about two dozen pickleballers took to the courts.
They were joined by two women from Gaylord Specialty Healthcare: Sports Association Program Manager Katie Joly and Adaptive Sports Program Specialist Debbie Gibilaro.
The duo took the court to learn the ins and outs of pickleball in hopes of adding it to their current offering of 15 sports at Gaylord.
